I am a Lecturer at the Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship, Goldsmiths College, University of London, where I previously pursued a Postdoctoral project investigating the conceptualisation, materialisation and management of risk in the film industry. I also work with industry, recently the British Screen Forum and Sundance Institute.

You can read more about my projects and research on the pages of this blog.
Historically my research has focused on market devices for managing uncertainty in the film business. In this work I have been supported by the Institute for Capitalising on Creativity at the University of St Andrews (ESRC) and Creative Scotland: the national leader for Scotland’s arts, screen and creative industries. This site featured as part of a two year research grant investigating digital marketing and distribution of feature films and associated business models that project until February 2012. The posted research includes the development of ideas facilitated at the Oxford Internet Institute SDP, MEDIA (EU) Business School, the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, and the Medici Management Program of NYU Stern, HEC Paris and UNIBO.
Previously I worked as a Senior Consultant for Northern Alliance, mainly on film finance and digital business related projects. Clients included UKFC, Film London, EM Media, Wales IP Fund and NESTA/Skillset.
