Guest blog at MeCETES

MeCETES stands for Mediating Cultural Encounters Through European Screens. It is a great initiative between the University of York, University of Copenhagen and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Their work comprises a collaborative research project exploring contemporary European film and television drama, which is funded by Humanities in the European Research Area (HERA).

The team kindly asked me to submit a piece of writing for their website and you can check it out here. There are lots of really excellent projects on the site, Roderik Smits’ work on film business gatekeepers is very interesting indeed.
