MeCETES stands for Mediating Cultural Encounters Through European Screens. It is a great initiative between the University of York, University of Copenhagen and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Their work comprises a collaborative research project exploring contemporary European film and television drama, which is funded by Humanities in the European Research Area (HERA).
