I was recently invited to contribute, in a very minor way, to the CREATe project Open Film: Open Source at ISSTI, University of Edinburgh (whose High School Yards location you can see in the front page photograph). The team have been fantastically welcoming to my film research over the last couple of years and it was wonderful to contribute to the Knowledge Elicitation Workshop. I think a very interesting report and article will be forthcoming on the relationship between open source and film.
